The Business Challenge
This heavy equipment manufacturer experienced significant lag time and integration issues across several internal and external tools related to legacy systems and poor data management.
TMG's Solution
For the client’s database and parts portal, TMG created a schema database for organizational and ID management — cutting load time from 5 seconds to just 1 second. Additionally, TMG experts developed a CPQ Admin tool for streamlined product management, later rolling out a comprehensive Connected Sales Experience (CSE) tool.
TMG created a publishing process, architected data services, and built agnostically, ensuring CSE is fully autonomous. This autonomy means future technology upgrades will be easy to integrate. TMG also built a reusable component library for this client, enabling more self-service and flexibility.
The Results
Why This Matters
Slow load times don’t just frustrate both your employees and customers — it’s costing you time, opportunities, and revenue. When simple tasks slow to a crawl – product updates become a hassle, and integrations feel like a gamble – operations can quickly grind to an unsustainable pace.
An improvement in load time means more productive teams, satisfied users, and fewer bottlenecks. Advanced pricing and connected experiences drive growth. By simplifying product management, speeding up sales workflows, and improving customer interactions, these tools open the door to more revenue.
On top of that, a robust schema database provides a solid foundation for efficient data management, ensuring your data and content are well-organized, accessible, and accurate. For companies looking to meet evolving customer expectations with strategies like personalization and AI-powered tools, this level of data management is an absolute must.
